Zion National Park
This summer we are taking a 5-week RV tour of the country, beginning and ending in Melbourne Beach, FL. We’re renting our RV through El Monte RV. Our trip will take us through 15 National Parks as well as numerous other landmark sites across the country. We planned this trip on a whim, as in, only a couple of months in advance of our departure date. Most of the National Park campgrounds were already full, so we will be staying at private campgrounds, some state parks, a few National Park campgrounds when available, and as many Harvest Hosts locations as possible. I’m also on a mission to stop at as many Trader Joe’s locations as I can; an RV stocked with Unexpected Cheddar, Cowboy Bark, and Pretzel Bread is what my dreams are made of! Add some Sweet Plantain Chips and Spicy Avocado Hummus and I am truly in heaven.
Besides National Parks and Trader Joe’s, we have some cities on our list of stops, some bucket list activities, and some stops in the middle of nowhere just because we are trying to keep the super-long drives to a minimum. The main purpose of this trip is to explore the outdoors and spend time together as a family. We hope to instill in our children a love and appreciation of nature and respect for our planet Earth.
Here’s to 5 WEEKS of fresh air, exercise, adventure, exploration, and hopefully not too much arguing and fighting! Oh, and Trader Joe’s wine, of course!
